ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Fifth annual Roanoke Regional Tennis Hall of Fame was held over at Hunting Hills Country Club. Four inductees heard their names called Saturday afternoon.
The event began with Kim Murray receiving the Richard Joachim D.D.S., Sportsmanship Award, followed by this year’s 2025 Hall of Fame inductees: Dwight Holland, Tom Craig, Dave Osterhaus, and the late great Jack Miller. According to inductee Dave Osterhaus, this was a special honor.
“It’s overwhelming, but I’m just enjoying it because a lot of these people I know. It’s fun with the camaraderie. The tennis community in Roanoke is powerful, and so it’s just fun to be able to have them recognize me is just amazing, and it’s a blessing.”…
