HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Hamilton County officials celebrated upgrades and the grand opening of a new playground at the Birchwood Community Center on Saturday.
Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp joined Hamilton County Parks and Recreation to unveil the changes, according to the mayor’s office.
The mayor’s office says features of the new playground include:
- Inclusive surfacing and play components for children of all abilities
- A newly paved walking track
- Resurfaced tennis courts
- Two pickleball courts
- Restored ball fields
- Refreshed concession building
