Berthoud Town Staff Members Achieve Professional Certification Milestones

The Town of Berthoud is proud to announce that two staff members have recently reached significant professional milestones by successfully passing important certification exams. These achievements reflect the town’s commitment to maintaining a highly qualified, competent and ethical workforce dedicated to serving the Berthoud community.

Savana Dumler has passed the professional engineering (PE) exam, completing the four-step process required to become a licensed professional engineer. This certification involves earning a degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program, passing the fundamentals of engineering exam, gaining four years of direct practical experience and successfully passing the PE exam. Attaining a PE license is a distinguished mark of professional competence, signifying Dumler’s comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and her ability to provide safe, high-quality engineering services to the public.

Tawn Hillenbrand has earned a certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), signifying a recognized level of expertise, competence and commitment to ethical planning practices. AICP certification is a nationally recognized credential that sets a standardized measure of a planner’s professional qualifications.
