LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Gun violence prevention advocates put on their orange Saturday joining community members to walk for peace against gun violence and share their stories of loss. It was a part of the city’s Wear Orange Weekend 2025—a three-day event that invites the community to support those affected by gun violence, educate the public on gun safety and plead for systematic change.
Organizations such as Mothers of Murdered Sons & Daughters (M.O.M.S.), Mothers Demand Action, Students Demand Action, and Guns to Gardens Louisville participated in the weekend event, alongside over 100 community members.
