Jaclyn Smith, the iconic star of Charlie’s Angels, recently took to Instagram to praise her friend, Beverly Hills makeup artist Patrick Foley, and his new lipstick shade for Sisley-Paris. Smith revealed that Foley, a close friend of the late Farrah Fawcett as well, told her that the color was inspired by Smith’s Angels character, Kelly Garrett.

“What an honor!” Smith wrote in her post.

Foley responded with heartfelt gratitude in the comments, thanking Smith for her enduring friendship and inspiration. He referred to Kelly Garrett as his “favorite character.”

Smith, who remains remarkably youthful as she approaches her 80th birthday this fall, included a stunning photo of herself with the post. Fans flooded the comments section with compliments, echoing a shared sentiment: Smith is, and always will be, a timeless beauty.

Many praised her enduring elegance, with one fan even recalling childhood bedroom walls plastered with posters of the “most beautiful brunette to grace the planet earth.” Smith played Kelly Garrett for the entirety of the show’s run from 1976 to 1981, the only Angel to do so.

She starred alongside a rotating cast of Angels, including Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack, and Tanya Roberts.
