PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) — In a show of unity and acceptance, six churches in Portage came together to host a Pride picnic, as part of an effort to show that faith and inclusion can go hand-in-hand.
St. Barnabus Episcopal, Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, Prince Of Peace Lutheran, Westminster Presbyterian and Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Southwest Michigan gathered together to invite everyone in the community, regardless of their background or beliefs.
