Grand Rapids food processor Tolman’s Meats is expanding for the second time in two years, upgrading its co-manufacturing capabilities and rolling out its own brand of meat products by year’s end.
Tolman’s Meats purchased a nearly 41,600-square-foot building at 1020 Hall St. SW two years ago, which it renovated into a meat processing facility. The company moved into the space in early 2024, nearly quadrupling its production footprint.
“This facility has allowed us to grow,” said Tolman’s Meats CEO Brandon Bassett. “We’ve been able to really get a lot more business through that building.”
