WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Detectives are investigating after a woman arrived at a D.C. hospital with gunshot wounds early Monday.
Just minutes after 2:30 a.m., officers were sent to a local hospital for a shooting that occurred in the Northeast area. Upon arrival, they found a woman who had been shot multiple times, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be OK, police noted.
