SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A bar that serves only frozen cocktails and has locations in large cities across the country and abroad is opening its first-ever California location in downtown San Diego.
Fat Tuesday — located in tourist hubs across the country like Las Vegas, Reno, San Antonio, Memphis, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Philadelphia, Miami Beach, and more, and in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean — is opening its first California location in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter this summer.

Dedicated to frozen cocktails, with wings at some locations, Fat Tuesday is taking over the former Henry’s Pub at 618 Fifth Ave. in downtown San Diego. The website says it is opening soon, slated for this summer.
