CDC back in California to study Tijuana River Valley contamination

SAN DIEGO (Border Report) — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be back in the Tijuana River Valley this week to continue looking into how extensive the contamination is and how badly it is affecting area residents.

For decades, the Valley has been plagued with millions of gallons of raw sewage on a daily basis flowing in from Mexico via the Tijuana River.

The currents also carry large amounts of toxic chemicals and other pollutants…
