Voters in Garland chose a new mayor Saturday. Cities across the Metroplex held run-off elections for races not decided May 3.
Turnout in Dallas County, where Garland is located, was 7.85% with 33,533 of 427,356 registered voters casting a ballot. A total of 7,749 voted for mayor of Garland.
