PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality advisory for the Portland area on Monday due to high smog levels.
The advisory is expected to last until 10 p.m.
“DEQ expects ozone pollution to reach levels that could be unhealthy for sensitive groups, including children, pregnant people, older adults and people with heart disease or respiratory conditions. Health officials recommend sensitive groups limit outdoor activity when pollution levels are high,” officials said…
