UNION COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A man has been sentenced to nearly three decades in prison for drug charges from Union and Claiborne counties.
Ralph Ray, 49, pleaded guilty to the charges on June 9. In Claiborne County, he was charged with and pleaded guilty to possession of over 26 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to sell, possession of fentanyl with the intent to sell, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to 14 years on each case by Eighth Judicial District Criminal Court Judge Zachary R. Walden. The sentences will be served consecutively for a total of 28 years in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Corrections.
