Report: Aide caught on camera dragging child with autism at Myrtle Beach-area daycare

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A woman is out on bond after being accused of dragging a child across a floor at a daycare in the Myrtle Beach area.

Horry County police responded on May 22 to 3480 McCormick Road for abuse. That address is listed online as The Learning Station, which has multiple locations in the county.

According to the police report, someone told officers that 31-year-old Ashley Cribb was seen on May 20 and May 21 on surveillance video picking up a child with autism by the arms and dragging them across the floor.

Cribb’s warrants state that the child was on their knees and pulled against Cribb, placing their hand on the ground to try and stop the dragging…
