AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – A new arena is still a couple of years away, but what it’s going to be called is a current controversy.
“I was really surprised this story got so big so fast. I think maybe they were just exploring something and then it just got out that it’s a done deal,” said Commissioner Tina Slendak.What got out is the Coliseum Authority is using the New Augusta Arena as the title, not James Brown Arena.
