When was the last time you went to the Amarillo Civic Center’s website? It’s probably been a while since you last scrolled through the long list of upcoming events, praying that something there would be interesting enough to separate you from your money.
I checked out the list of upcoming events today, and it was more exciting than I anticipated. I was very happy to see a few pleasant surprises in the second half of 2025.
Mixed in among the Reptile Expo, the multiple gun shows, and wedding receptions, there were a couple of concerts, a pop-culture convention, and a surprise comedian. The comedian coming to Amarillo was the biggest shock.
Concerts You Won’t Want to Miss
The concerts were for Bachman-Turner Overdrive and Marshall Tucker Band (August 3, 2025). If you dig classic rock, this one should have you pretty excited. There’s also a concert featuring Warrant along with Lita Ford, and FireHouse (August 23, 2025)…
