Murder charges filed after construction worker dies in days following KC shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Murder charges have been filed against a 26-year-old who is accused of shooting a Kansas City construction worker in the head during an argument.

Jackson County, Missouri, Prosecutor Melesa Johnson announced on Monday, June 9, that felony charges have been filed against Zechariah Hoskins-Ellis, 26, of Kansas City, in connection with a fatal May shooting.
