National Weather Service: Potential storms to roll into areas of northern Utah

SALT LAKE CITY — The National Weather Service issued a warning of the potential for northern Utah storms on Tuesday, June 10.

According to an X post from the NWS’ Salt Lake City office, the level of risk is “marginal” across northern Utah and parts of southwestern Wyoming.

Although the risk is on the low end of the NWS’ scale, this type of weather event can be dangerous. The post urged people to move inside if they see a storm rolling in.

The post explained the northern Utah storms could bring wind gusts, small to medium-sized hail, and lightning.
