A Salem, Oregon, man was met with a decoy truck and trailer in Woodland by the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Crime Reduction Team (CRT) after he had offered a fully automatic firearm for an all-terrain vehicle from a Facebook Marketplace ad.
Detectives spoke with a citizen who reported a subject attempting to trade a machine gun for an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on Tuesday, June 3, according to a news release by CCSO.
