Authorities have charged a suspect in a 32-year-old Augusta man’s shooting death

Police charged a woman with felony murder Tuesday in the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old Augusta man found dumped nearly two months ago in a patch of south Augusta woods.

June James was taken into custody “without incident” by members of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, RCSO Chief of Staff Lewis Blanchard announced Tuesday afternoon.
