BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — One person is dead and two others were hurt in a fiery crash that was caught on video at a southeast Bakersfield intersection late Tuesday night. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash, police said.
The two-vehicle crash was reported just after 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Union and East California Avenues, the Bakersfield Police Department said.
The crash involved a Dodge Charger and a white BMW that burst into flames video from the scene showed.

Police said the the driver of the Charger suffered major injuries in the crash and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the BMW was taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
