This summer, Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD) is taking a proactive approach to keeping young minds engaged with reading—even after the school year ends. The CFISD Mobile Library, a cheerful, book-filled bus, is making regular stops across the community to bring books, snacks, and storytime directly to students.
Designed to promote literacy and the joy of reading, the Mobile Library initiative is part of CFISD’s broader commitment to educational enrichment and accessibility. The program runs from June 9 to July 31, 2025, with a brief pause on Thursday, June 19 for the Juneteenth holiday.
