LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A new law in Arkansas, Act 624, is at the center of a growing legal battle over who can own and operate pharmacies in the Natural State.
Act 624, signed into law by Governor Sanders in April, bans pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) from owning pharmacies and holding a pharmacy license at the same time.
