BOONE COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – A two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon leaves one dead and multiple others in the hospital, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened June 10 in the intersection of Spring Creek and Shaw roads.
According to investigators, a 2015 Cadillac SRX was westbound on Spring Creek Road and a 2025 Nissan Sentra was eastbound on Spring Creek Road. Deputies say the Cadillac failed to yield to the Nissan while trying to make a left turn onto Shaw Road.
The driver of the Cadillac was treated and released at the scene. All five people inside the Nissan were taken to a local hospital where a female passenger died at the hospital. Her identity has not been released by officials…
