Substitute teacher in Florida accused of sending explicit images to students

SEFFNER, Fla. (CBS12) — A substitute teacher is behind bars after he was accused of showing sexual images to students while working at a middle school in Hillsborough County.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) alleged on December 9, 2024 while inside the classroom a substitute teacher at Jennings Middle School, identified as Chase Rush, told his seventh grade students to “turn on” their AirDrop feature on their iPhones.
