MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — An affidavit describes details about a shooting involving an 18-year-old whose charges are connected to the events that occurred before and after the shooting on the boulevard.
Myrtle Beach Police Chief Amy Prock said 18-year-old Jawarren Bethea, of Laurinburg, is facing gun charges related to the 8th Avenue North shooting.
Bethea was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Monday and was charged with first degree assault & battery, according to booking records.
On April 26, the affidavit said officers responded to the scene of 8th Avenue North Ocean Boulevard after being alerted of a “shot-spotter.”…
