Riviera Beach resident receives assistance after home fire

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A home fire in Riviera Beach displaced one person on Thursday.

The blaze broke out on Avenue H E in the Park Manor neighborhood, where trained volunteers from the Palm Beach Treasure Coast Chapter offered emergency assistance, according to the news release. Photos taken show damage done to the interior and exterior of the home.

The Red Cross said its team is offering emergency financial assistance, health and mental health services, and one-on-one support to connect the person affected to available recovery resources. The organization will continue to provide additional support to meet the disaster-caused needs of the affected person.
