Amarillo Police Work Numerous Burglaries On Tuesday

Amarillo Police were called to the 3100 block of Southwest 27th Tuesday on a burglary where the thief broke the front door frame and broke a bedroom window. Police were called to the 900 block of Northeast 24th on a report of a vehicle burglary where the owner reported the theft of a wallet and tablet. An APD officer was dispatched to the 6600 block of Woodward Ave. for a burglary where the victim reported the theft of 80-feet of copper piping. Amarillo Police investigated a theft from vehicle in the 1200 block of Jasmine where the victim reported the theft of a Bank Of American Debit Card. Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Bluebell in reference to the theft of three tires. A Police Officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Southest 45th on the theft of a gold diamond ring.

Amarillo Police arrested Issac Zamarron, age 22 Tuesdaya at 7:54am in the area of Matador Trail and Southwest 49th on charges of driving while intoxicated.

Officers were dispatched Tuesday to the 1700 block of I-40 East in reference to the theft of three tool boxes with various tools. A Police Officer was dispatched to 9900 block of I-40 east where the complaintant reported the theft of $400-cash, 1 black Apple Iphone, a driver’s license and a black Llama 380.
