HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry County police are investigating after a child left unresponsive after suffering head injuries died at a Carolina Forest hospital, according to an incident report.
The incident happened at about 5 p.m. Wednesday on Sago Palms Drive off Highway 501 and Legends Drive, where the report said officers responded to assist an EMS crew already on the scene.
HCPD’s Criminal Investigation Division was called in to take over the investigation because of “the victim’s age and the incident resulting in her death,” the report said…
