I want to tell you a story today. It’s a story about a boy who gets lost very easily. When he gets lost he struggles.
He was a young boy when he got lost the first time. He thought he knew the environment. Well, he was wrong. He turned left instead of right and got lost instantly. It’s kind of funny. He can drive into a place, but driving out is a different story. Just like most males he doesn’t stop to ask questions or directions.
There was a time he was in the Philadelphia area and somehow crossed over a bridge into New Jersey. Realizing it and needing a map, he stopped after a while to purchase one. Obviously, this was before GPS was available on the cell phone. He went into the gas station and found the map section. There was not one single Philadelphia map. He asked the owner and got a surprising answer, “This is New Jersey why would we have a Philadelphia map?” Uh, because Philadelphia is right across the river. So much for getting any help that day…
