In a surprise turn, Tallahassee city commissioners unanimously voted to push a decision on the “comprehensive plan,” the area’s blueprint for growth and development, into 2026.
“I’ll tell you what I’m not going to do: We’re not going to postpone three months,” Tallahassee Mayor John E. Dailey said. “We’re not going to burden this community over the summer time to try to answer every single question that’s going on. We need more time.”
