Toledo library accepting applications for new café to replace SAME Café

TOLEDO, Ohio — Downtown Toledo’s Main Library is accepting proposals for cafés to fill the space left vacant after its previous lessee closed two months ago.

“We are seeking proposals from dynamic, purpose-driven organizations—including innovative food service operators, educational institutions, training providers, entrepreneurial ventures, non-profits, and socially conscious enterprises—to lease and operate a fully equipped café space on the first floor of the Main Library in downtown Toledo,” the Toledo Lucas County Public Library said on social media Thursday.
