2 arrested in Bakersfield on suspicion of drug sales: DA’s Office

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two people in Bakersfield were arrested on Thursday on suspicion of engaging in narcotics sales and firearm possession, according to the Kern County District Attorney’s Office.

On June 12, investigators with the DA’s Office and a special agent from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Special Service Unit executed a search warrant in the 4000 block of O Street, officials said.

Through the search, investigators seized 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, a loaded handgun, a sawed-off rifle, about $1,400 in cash, and indicia of drug sales, according to officials.

Jason Hull, 51, of Bakersfield was arrested on suspicion of narcotics sales while being armed with a firearm, along with several other firearms violations…
