KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A stretch of roadway between Northshore Drive and Kingston Pike is seeing a lot of growth, like much of Knox County. Ebenezer Road was mainly lined with homes and subdivisions. Now, more commercial properties are popping up along the road with additional housing as the area continues to grow.
One homeowner told 6 News they moved to the area several years ago because, at the time, it was a quiet area.

“There’s been a lot more traffic, especially the last three years, as more developments come in down toward Northshore,” said Brad Brazier, who lives along Ebenezer Road. “There’s another apartment complex just past Bluegrass Elementary School, now they’re looking at adding another one less than a quarter of a mile up the street here.”
