LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – It’s been more than 10 years ago now that local radio personality Jack Mitchell made a mistake on one of his weather predictions, turning it into an annual event in Lincoln.
The Walk of Shame was coined in the winter of 2013, when Mitchell made a promise to the city that the rest of the year would be 60 degrees or better. If he was wrong, he’d take a “walk of shame” across Lincoln.
And after guessing wrong for several years now, Mitchell has made the walk a tradition, turning it into a fundraiser…
