Man arrested after 100 mile per hour chase on Highway 30

LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – A Cedar Rapids man is facing several charges after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase Thursday night.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says at 9:41 p.m., a deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 30 near I-380. The deputy made contact with 31-year-old David Abrams, Jr. before Abrams put his car into gear and sped away.
