MERIDIAN, Idaho — A motorcyclist who had twice fled from Idaho State Police at speeds exceeding 150 mph turned himself in on Friday afternoon, following a public tip campaign that generated multiple leads.
According to the Idaho State Police, the rider, whose identity has not been released pending formal charges, contacted authorities after police issued a public appeal for help identifying him. The man rode a black Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle during the June 4 incidents on Interstate 84 and had distinctively skinny legs.
