PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man has died after he was hit by a pickup driver while jaywalking in west Phoenix on Wednesday night.
According to police, 34-year-old Christian Chevarillo and another man were trying to cross Lower Buckeye Road near 85th Avenue on Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. That’s when a pickup truck driver hit them both.
Both victims were taken to the hospital, where Chevarillo died. The other man, who hasn’t been identified, has serious injuries but should survive, police said…
