Hearing scheduled for man accused in Sullivan’s Island car attack

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A first court hearing is scheduled Friday for a man who authorities said attacked several people with a vehicle on Sullivan’s Island last month.

Justin Collin Adams is accused of intentionally hitting three people, including two children and a substitute teacher, with a vehicle outside Sunrise Presbyterian Church School on May 1.

Police said Adams first attacked his mother with a knife and then used her car to target a group of students who were at the church’s playground…
