Christopher Allen Dontell, a former Horry County deputy coroner, told a 10-woman, two-man jury how his girlfriend Meagan Marie Jackson jumped from a van and fatally shot her ex-husband, Gregory Rice, the evening of Oct. 2, 2020. Dontell pleaded guilty to disposing of the body the following day after the murder.
