GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – An Upstate couple accused of multiple counts of physical and sexual child abuse have been given additional charges by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 15, 70-year-old Kathy Chorbajian and her husband, 73-year-old Myron Chorbajian, were arrested in Nashville in Tennessee. The couple faces allegations of abuse against their seven adopted children and one biological daughter that stem all the way back to the 1980s. The allegations include, but are not limited to being tied to a basketball post and hit with a belt, breaking coffee mugs over the children’s heads, and forcing the children to eat dirt as punishment.

Myron Chorbajian
- Criminal sexual conduct with a minor, first degree, eight counts
- Criminal sexual conduct with a minor, second degree, three counts
- Incest, ten counts
- Assault & battery with intent to kill, two counts
- Assault & battery, second degree, three counts
- Unlawfully placing a child at risk or harm, 15 counts
