Homelessness in Richmond, Virginia is at an all time high. Richmond City Planning Commission believe there is the possibility of a way to eliminate some of the homelessness in the city. It is the belief that a gated community of tiny houses could be the answer.
Eden Village
On May 12, 2025, Richmond City Planning Commission gave its support to a proposal to sell about 3 acres of city-owned, vacant land on the Northside to Eden Village of Richmond for $100 for the purpose of developing the community.
