Thousands of protesters attend ‘No Kings’ demonstrations in Western Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. – People across Western Oregon are taking part in rallies and marches that coincide with nationally organized “No Kings” demonstrations Saturday.

The event is began at the Wayne Lyman Morse United States Courthouse, and will then travel to Eugene City Hall.

According to the Activist Coalition of Eugene Springfield (ACES), the rally aims to emphasize that the U.S. is a democratic republic, not a monarchy. It also encourages community involvement in local political actions and supports local organizations in need of financial assistance…
