BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A big-hearted dog with an even bigger personality is getting a fresh start after stealing the spotlight on Local 10’s “Adopt a Pet” segment.
Stella, a 6-year-old, 93-pound mixed-breed dog, made a special appearance Saturday, quickly winning over the newsroom with her mellow demeanor, love of belly rubs, and treat-motivated charm.
“She’s part dog, part cow, part wolf,” joked Cherie Wachter with the Humane Society of Broward County. “She is a very large girl, but she is full of love.”…
