Gov. Hochul grilled on NY immigration policies

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)—Governor Kathy Hochul was one of three governors before the U.S. House Oversight Committee taking questions from multiple Congressional members on both sides of the aisle about the state’s immigration and sanctuary city policies.

In her opening statement to Congressional members, Governor Kathy Hochul spoke about immigration.

“Our nation needs comprehensive immigration reform from this body, and our state laws dictate we cooperate with ICE in criminal cases,” said Hochul.” And our values dictate we treat all law-abiding people with dignity and respect.”
