34 animals and 3 juveniles found living in ‘deplorable’ conditions, Bienville Parish Sheriff’s Office says

BIENVILLE PARISH, La. (KSLA) – A woman was arrested and charged with cruelty to juveniles and animals after law enforcement found nearly three dozen animals and three juveniles living in “deplorable” conditions at a Bienville Parish home.

On Tuesday, June 10, deputies with the Bienville Parish Sheriff’s Office (BPSO) accompanied Children and Family Services (DCFS) personnel to a home in the 4900 block of Hwy 371 north of Ringgold in reference to child welfare concerns.

When officers arrived, they made contact with 41-year-old Darci Freligh Boyd, the mother of the three juveniles who Children and Family Services were concerned about.
