Local grand jury issues indictments for rape, burglary

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for rape, burglary and assault-related crimes on Friday.

Thirty-six-year-old Pablo Ramos of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree rape and intimidating a participant in the legal process after he reportedly used force to engage in sexual intercourse with a victim on April 28.

Twenty-year-old Jaquan McPhatter of Hopkinsville was indicted for multiple charges after he reportedly stole from various cars and was seen walking around with a handgun on April 24. McPhatter was indicted for first-degree burglary, two counts of theft by unlawful taking of a firearm, third-degree fleeing or evading police and theft by unlawful taking of contents from a vehicle…
