MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – After a quiet and pleasant Saturday, things begin to shift again later Saturday night into Sunday. While Saturday evening looks dry across much of southern Wisconsin, low pressure approaching from the west is expected to bring the next round of possible showers and isolated thunderstorms by mid-morning Sunday, mainly west of Madison. Some of this activity could drift east through the afternoon and early evening, though it will likely lose steam as it does.

Sunday’s setup is a bit uncertain; models don’t quite agree on how far east the front will get or how strong the forcing will be overhead. Some scenarios show showers holding off until late in the day, while others hint at more widespread activity developing. Either way, most of Sunday won’t be a washout, but keep your plans…..
