Freeport man who sold cocaine to confidential informant given 10 years in federal prison

FREEPORT, Ill. (WGN) — A Freeport man who sold cocaine to a confidential informant has been handed a decade-long prison sentence.

Paris Walker, a 39-year-old Freeport resident, has been sentenced to ten years in federal prison for knowingly and intentionally distributing cocaine between 2019 and 2022, Andrew Boutros, U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Illinois, announced Friday.
