EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Police Department is finalizing its policy on flock license plate readers, which are not yet fully operational but have already led to major arrests – including suspects in a double homicide.
In Thursday night’s Police Commission meeting, Chief Chris Skinner confirmed the flock cameras will not use facial recognition.
